Adding a Bidet... A What?

Many new homes which are being built these days are adding bidets to the bathroom as standard. “What are bidets?” – we hear you asking?

A bidet is much like a toilet, and is usually found right next to the toilet, but is used for a separate reason. After you have done your business on the toilet, sometimes toilet paper is not able to completely clean up everything which is left behind.

A bidet is able to do this for you. Basically, this is a separate bathroom facility which allows you to wash parts of your body which you may not want to get dirty during the toilet process.

They are surprisingly hygienic – allowing you to not only use water, but also soap on the area to ensure a complete and thorough clean. Bidets are also relatively inexpensive, so they make a good addition to your bathroom.
